WHAT KIND OF WORK DO YOU DO?

I work on a large range of projects. I’ve worked on so many over the years I could never list them all, but I enjoy new challenges and know how to apply past experiences to new projects. If needed I do research to ensure a job well done.

I often get asked do you do (fill in the blank)? It comes down to three questions in my mind,

Am I comfortable doing the job and will the outcome lead to a finished project that the client will be happy with.
Does it make sense for the client? For example I was asked will I shovel sidewalks. Well yes but my minimum is 2 hours and I do not think it would make sense for a client to pay me for this job alone. On the other hand, if they had a sidewalk that needed to be shoveled and a list of other items on the to-do list, I’m on board.
Does the project require licensing like electrical work or plumbing work? Some electrical and plumbing work requires a license, so I’ll refer these to a licensed contractor. However, other projects like changing a light fixture or changing a faucet are no problem.

Below are some examples of the work I do but not a full list.

Repairs

Things around the home or office that need to be repaired. Examples: toilet, fence, sprinkler, doors, windows, garage doors, screens, wall patching, weather proofing, decks, bathroom fans.

Replacements & installs

Is it time to update or upgrade? Examples: water filtering systems, garbage disposals, weather proofing, child-proofing, curtain rods, blinds, faucets, sinks, light bulbs, security lights, door locks, light fixtures, furniture assembly, install or remove carpet from a room, add coat hooks, hang pictures, bathroom fans, low voltage electrical.

Construction

Let’s remodel or build something new. Examples: painting, drywall & texturing work, hang shelving units, in-wall RF key boxes, tile, laminate flooring, room remodels, bathroom remodels, light fixtures & ceiling fans, window installs, doors and locks, replace a window or a door, climbing wall, add closet storage, tile a bathroom or a backsplash.

regular & Annual Maintenance

Those regular tasks that end up on your to-do list over and over again. Examples: sprinkler blow out, aeration, gutter cleaning, smoke alarms, evaporative cooler beginning and end of season service, hot water heater, pond cleaning, lawn fertilization, garden prep.

Outdoor Projects

I’ll do the yardwork, leaving you to enjoy your outdoor oasis. Examples: fence repair, sprinkler systems, brick work, decks, add a pond, pruning, build a chicken coup, mulching, planting, add outdoor solar lighting for accent and /or security.

Technology

Bring your home into the 21st century. Examples: hang TVs, setup TV systems, install video doorbells, smart home installation, computer setup, wireless network setup, mics electronics setup, setup Alexa
